A: Most Glattd ice makers produce the first batch of ice in about 6 to 10 minutes, depending on the model and ambient conditions.
Q2: What type of ice does the machine make?
A: Our machines produce either bullet-shaped or crystal-clear square ice cubes, depending on the model. Both types are designed to melt slowly and cool efficiently.
Q3: Do I need a water line to use the ice maker?
A: No plumbing is required. Just fill the built-in water tank, plug it in, and the machine is ready to go.
Q4: How often should I clean the machine?
A: For optimal performance, we recommend cleaning the ice maker every 1–2 weeks. Many models feature a self-cleaning function for added convenience.
Q5: Does the ice maker keep ice frozen?
A: No. While our machines produce and store ice, they do not function as freezers. Ice may melt if not transferred or used in time.
Q6: Is the machine loud during operation?
A: Not at all. Glattd ice makers are engineered for quiet operation, making them suitable for kitchens, offices, and even bedrooms.
Q7: What happens if the water runs out or the basket is full?
A: The machine will automatically pause and notify you when the water is low or the ice bin is full. Just refill or empty the basket to resume operation.
